Optumiz, the Operations Cell of the School of Business Management - NMiMS, in partnership with “Supply Chain Asia (SCA)" (a premier association of Logistics and Supply Chain Professionals across Asia), unveils its flagship event for this calendar year – OPTUMIZ ’09. The event is scheduled to be held on the 16th of September, 2009, and the theme for this year is “propelling growth through a smarter supply chain”. The event promises to be international in scale, contemporary in nature, and a melting pot of knowledge. This, we ensure by combining insights from the students and faculty of reputed educational institutions, and top-notch industry experts from the corporate world of Operations and Supply Chain Management.
With due regards to the theme, the discussions would revolve around the following:
- Challenges for Supply Chain Management in India
- The missing link in Global Logistics
- Career opportunities in Supply Chain Management
The panel discussions will involve experts in Operations and Supply Chain Management, with global expertise and outlook. Further, we expect this event to contribute the best in terms of research, for we invite research presentations from the corporate from various firms, and the faculty and students of various educational institutions.
